Hey Kim, why are you writing what's probably a 15k Shigaraki/Shouto fic? Is there some reason you needed to add more rare pairs to your plate?

'Cause I had a couple of lovely, effusive commentors catch me at the right time, and a @nani-bell tossed me a prompt I couldn't resist, okay?

Lesson learned: effusive and enthusiastic comments can, in fact, sometimes get you more of the thing you love.

Did I mention this fic is going to be 4 chapters? It's definitely going to be four chapters. Also not getting done tonight 'cause I have work tomorrow and need to go to bed.

Seeking a Soft Place to Land When I Fall Ends!

Another longfic completed! And then because I'm Like This, what do I do but go--"What about IcyHotWings Mpreg with Shouto pregnant by both Keigo and Touya?"

Introduce a new item to the to-do list.

Before I can do that, however, I have a few other fics.

First up--a Gundam Wing longfic first, but it should be posted quickly because it's it's for a May event, so I'm going to have fun speed-running that. As it's planned, it's going to have 13 chapters, so wish me luck.

The planned longfic after that is a ShoutoMight time travel fic that's been itching at me. Targeting loosely 50-60k on it, and this fic is going to be very special to me, even though I know, due to the ship, it won't be popular.

From there, I have a few longfic options:

RoyEd Omegaverse followup fic - this is going to be a shorter end of a longfic, but it's the mpreg followup to the omegaverse oneshot, and I've just been dragging my feet on it

The Lives Todoroki Shouto Didn't Live - this is planned to be a DekuBakuTodo fic, but the central idea came from a Twitter thread where someone asked how things would have been different if Enji had been a good father. This fic is meant to look at a lot of those "what-if" scenarios with a background thread of Shouto learning to value himself as more than just a tool. There will also be at least one DabiShou chapter 'cause I'm me and shameless

I didn't know where else to go - a DabiShou fic where Dabi escapes (kind of accidentally) from Tartarus and goes to Shouto for help. Featuring Healer!Shouto and a traumatized child with an ice quirk. Slow burn fall in love.

IcyHotWings Mpreg - featuring Slutty!Shouto, accidental bitching, and accidental pregnancy

We'll see which of those I chose when I get there, but the other two take precedence. If you're particularly interested in anything up and coming, let me know.

So I should be working on Barb Duo (my placeholder name for Bent Beneath a Full Collar's Weight), because that gets posted tomorrow.

That is not what is itching at me. Tundra is what is itching at me. So even though there's one with a much sooner post date, I guess we're going to play with Dabi and Shou.
