This evening, I asked the cards "What did I learn today?" I drew Strength from The Wild Unknown Pocket Tarot. I always feel like this is my card. It's why I have it tattooed on my arm. It's a reminder that I am the master of my emotions. Even though there are times when I don't feel like I'm on control of my life, I can control how I experience it. For the full moon, I asked the Wild Unknown Tarot "What do I need to let go of?" I drew the 10 of Swords. I can let go of the mental stress and strain that I've been holding on to and welcome a new journey. I asked The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit "What part of my spirit do I embrace?" I drew the Eagle. I need to embrace the light within myself and the fire of my spirit and embrace the brightest parts of myself. I asked The Wild Unknown Archetypes "What part of myself do I need to look at more closely?" I drew The Comic. Humour can be used in many different situations. I need to embrace ths positivity and the healing power of laughter. This evening, I asked the cards "What part of myself did I embrace today?" I drew the Camel from The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit deck. This card is a reminder that I have everything within that I need. The Camel holds water in its hump, enabling it to walk long distance in great heat. It delves within to survive. Likewise, I have everything within me. However that being said, even though I'm capable of anything I set my mind to, it's okay to ask for help. Asking for help doesn't mean I'm weak. This evening, I asked the cards "What part of myself did I embrace today?" I drew the Hummingbird from The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit deck again. Today, I was one with Spirit. I wrote a poem while sitting and looking at the water, the sun shining down upon me. I walked in the water and looked at the flowers on the waters edge. I went for a walk and felt the wind upon my skin. Finding Spirit and finding joy does not have to be difficult. This evening, I asked the cards "What part of myself did I embrace today?" I drew the Hummingbird from The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit deck. The hummingbird is a call to connect to spirit and to magic. It fills the world with light and with wonder. Seeing one is a call to embrace the light within. Today, I found beauty in nature, listened to the singing of water and found peace in the shining sun. Spirit can be found in the simplest of ways when one stops to listen. This evening, I asked the cards "What part of myself do I have to let go of?" I drew the Cheetah from The Wild Unknown Animal Spirit deck. Passion and drive rule the Cheetah. He is driven and finds himself in his accomplishments and achievements. The sun does not just shine around him, it shines from within him, inspiring all those around them. Those are really good qualities, but the feeling I get from this card is speed. I need to let go of this constant need to be busy, the ever present need to be *doing* something. I am more than my achievements and accomplishments. I need to recognize that sometimes doing nothing *is* doing something, that just because I'm not doing anything doesn't mean my passion or drive will dry up. Both come from within me. I need to stop trying to outrun my MS by being constantly busy.
