Our mission as martial arts instructors is to build our kids. Teach them lessons that they will only learn at a martial arts academy. Teach them how to defend themselves, build confidence and self esteem. Be good kids, well behaved and learn discipline and respect. The result of this is that the child will be less likely to be bullied. The problem though, is when a parents competitive edge, pushes their child to go hard with his classmates in training. Maybe cranks or holds on to a submission a bit too long, a throw etc. Parents please be patient and understanding. You don’t want to push your kid to go hard on the other students in class, because that is not what we are trying to build in class. We want our students to be competitive, but there is a time and place for that on the competition stage, not the dojo. I hope you all have a wonderful day and you’ll find me on the mats🤙🏽👊🏽💪🏽👮🏽♀️ #jiujitsu #bjjcoo #kimuracop #bjj #bjjkids #saynotobullying #nobullying #kids #discipline #focus #respect #trillobjj #deblassbjj (at Trillo Academy) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bn4LtVKF9Xw/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=98k6wvvtq14i
