kin question: can you tell me what it's like being the Mangle/in a Mangle shift/however you describe it (also as the Mangle what are your pronouns) :3
I tend to be in a somewhat more positive mood no matter what when I Mangle shift. It also makes me uncomfortable in "normal" poses sometimes, but I'm slightly hyper-flexible so it's fine.
I had an any/all pronouns situation as Mangle, so I didn't really mind any being used for me. Especially when it's from the kids!
Ask me anything whenever! I love to get asks!
Hi! I hope this is not too personal of a question, but I am very new to learning about neogenders and otherkin. If you feel comfortable, could you explain what shape shifter-kin is? Have a lovely day!
Heya! Honestly, that's a good question and a little difficult to answer fully. I suppose the best way I can put it into words is, much like other otherkins, I still feel inhuman. it's just fluid on the 'what' I am, much like shapeshifters, thus the name shapeshifterkin. Like one moment, I could be a cat, and the next, an eldritch entity just depends on how I'm feeling and the environment around me.
Thank you for the question! Its not often I get to talk about this stuff. Hope I answered your question fully ^^
Wait why do I have several creatures from Scottish folklore as my kintypes?
Kelpie, Cat Sith, and now possibly Selkie.
What's up with that? And I kinned them before I knew where they originated from.
I wonder if more of my kintypes are based on Scottish folklore?
what do you relate to with Shamura?
Oh I think you slightly misunderstand my kin-ness. I am like 95-100% spiritual with my kintypes and think all of them were a past life of sone sort.
Regardless, possibly most relating to, in this life, the "making mistakes because of misunderstanding and acting incorrectly" aspect of their story role.
As a fellow Benrey kin, how creature were your features? Normally I had a tail flicking about or maybe claws if I was feeling quirky. Or did you keep a totally human appearance for the most part?
It varied from day to day, but I usually tried to be mostly human in appearance as to not scare others (and sometimes for my own safety. Scientists, you know?). Most commonly it was fangs, claws, and a few extra eyes when I did let things slip through and didn't want to go full eldritch beast.
My asks are 100% open always! Ask away!
The fight from a fictionkin perspective
The strangest part of being a past life fictionkin is watching a scene and remembering every little part of it. Me and Kageyama's fight? everytime I am jarred by just how strongly I recall the details of it. The way the gym floor felt slamming into my back, the way my heart shattered, the tears that drifted down my face on the way home? It all hurts to relive yet at the same time I miss it so badddd, take me back to Karasuno
