Can I regenerate a creature after I sacrifice it? I.e. I block with kin tree warden, sacrifice him with disciple of griselbrand then use his regenerate to gain him back?

Regeneration doesn’t work this way. Regeneration allows a creature that would be destroyed to stay on the battlefield, but it doesn’t bring that creature back to the battlefield from the graveyard.

Regeneration is an effect that can replace destruction, and a creature is only ever destroyed if it receives lethal damage or an effect specifically destroys it. Regeneration can’t replace a creature going to the graveyard because it has 0 toughness or was sacrificed.
