hi this is an amazing blog!! how do i pack for a trip @A@ ive done this before but it seems worse this time, thank you

1). pick a shirt, pants, underwear, and socks for each day (and three extra pairs of socks)

2). pick a set of pjs for every 3 nights

3). grab any necessary hygiene products you know you’ll need (face wash, pads, hairbrush, etc…)

4). put all the hygiene products in their own plastic bags, and roll them into the outfits like a burrito

5). put all the clothes into the suitcase/bag

6). throw in a swimsuit if you need

7). put any medications you’ll need in the bag

The couple walks over hand in hand. Angela promptly encounters the issue of sitting on the ground without cramping her wings. She shuffles and grumbles until she decides to simply lay on her stomach.

Immediately, Fareeha lays down next to her and Angela lifts a wing to allow her to snuggle up close. Even in the heat of the early morning, they find the arrangement comfortable enough.

“You know, I think I’ll keep them,” muses Angela, after inhaling a small mountain of food. “My wings, I mean. They seem useful enough.”

Above them a gull cries out, its uncanny laughter reaching their ears just as its shadow passes overhead.

“I don’t think even that gull believes that you made that decision just now,” Satya says dryly as Fareeha and Ana laugh. Angela blushes deeply and snuggles closer to Fareeha. She rustles her wings and smiles softly, thinking back on the last few weeks.

“I don’t think I do either.”

“So, Angela, would you like to spend the rest of our lives together?”

Tears stream down Angela’s cheeks as she nods frantically. “Yes, Fareeha, always and forever, yes!”

Fareeha breaks into an enormous grin and slips the ring on the offered finger. Then she picks up her fiancée and spins her around, laughing all the while. A spirited cheer rises up from the soaked group below.

mochi, cupcake, poppy?

mochi - favorite studio ghibli film?

This is an unusual one, but Porco Rosso! It’s not that anyone really dislikes it, but it is just not as highly regarded as movies like Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away. For some reason the main character really speaks to me. It is also a period of history that is rarely visited by supernatural elements so I find that interesting and fun as well.

cupcake - are you a good cook?

Lol, not at all. It’s not that I couldn’t learn, I can cook a few things successfully, but I don’t really enjoy most daily eating. For me meals are basically filling up the gas tank so I can continue to function, and I will happily eat the same things for months or even years with only minor variations.

I have eaten 1-2 ham sandwiches prepared almost exactly the same way nearly every day for the past twenty years for lunch, for example. I got the same food thing going on pretty hard.

So because of that there has really never been a reason for me to learn to cook. I also hate dealing with dishes because I have some sort of sensory thing going on with my hands, touching water that might be dirty drives me out of my mind, so if I wash a sink full of dishes I have to stop to wash my hands 3 or 4 times during the process.

All of this combined means I have oriented my daily eating habits around creating as little fuss as possible for myself. I have learned how to make a few things that my wife and I both like that is a bit more elaborate for her sake, like I know how to make good noodle and vegetable stir fry.

My pleasure eating is mostly going to be about a good meal with my wife at a sit down restaurant or avoiding having to make food or a mess, like getting pizza for the family. Either way it is about reducing my stress and relaxing as much as having good food. Having to make it myself defeats the point of pleasure eating for me.

poppy - favorite pastel color?

But really I am not a big fan of any pastel color on it’s own. My second favorite dress is this color, but with white and red flowers on it. It makes a great base or background, and a pastel rainbow is very pretty.

I tend to prefer deep, cool colors. My absolute favorite is deep purple, then I go back and forth between green and blue.

thank you very much, these are very nice! I really like the point about the healing narrative, it is something I do without even thinking about it but now you say it yeah, that is something I like a lot. :)
