Trying to get into drawing again after a long break. Decided to use jean with an eros/cupid theme as practice

Idk why but I keep thinking of ME’s Krogans when I try to picture Imxa. Would that be anywhere in the ballpark? Or is she just a more intimidating - bigger/chonkier - looking Rhaxa (he looks like an adorable lil fellow btw <3)

they're both the same species, and you'll get more description/details when she shows up ingame, but imxa is a lot more scarred and rough-looking - rhaxa is very sleek and shiny and smooth-looking, and takes a lot of care over their appearance. imxa doesn't, and in a sort of self-fulfilling prophecy she's got a lot more scars and marks and poorly-healed injuries that make her look a lot rougher around the edges.

in terms of size, she's a little stockier than they are, slightly chunkier but not significantly. the bugs obviously have very different muscle/fat distributions from humans, and they don't have quite as extreme a range of body shapes. so it's less krogan vs turian and more like....greyhound vs doberman, if that makes sense?? they're essentially the same shape, but they've lived very different lives and that's pretty obvious from the go.
