A worthy fight is a rarity for Jasper nowadays. Every opponent is too easy, has a WEAKNESS that is much too easy to exploit. There is no thrill in any of it - Jasper simply goes through the motions. Certainly nothing that makes her blood PUMP like it had during the rebellion. 

Defeat at the hands of defects and traitors stung, but the ferocity with which they fought was unlike none she had ever seen before. Rose Quartz, for all that Jasper detested her, inspired a ferocity within her troops that had made them willing to DIE for her and her cause. That in of itself had been admirable. Other wars had been fought since then but...it was never the same. 

It shouldn’t surprise her that this Amethyst, puny and pathetic in so many ways, fights with the same DETERMINATION. Claws and fists and pumping ichor; it’s uncannily like looking in a mirror. In another world, they would have been comrades. 

These thoughts are driven from her mind with soft lips upon her own, and at first she thinks it is another form of attack before she registers the sensations. There is fierce force behind the movement, but it is simply....a kiss. 

A creature of instinct first and foremost she leans forward to return it, unnecessary breath harsh and shaking. Fangs meant to tear apart and MANGLE nick against skin - she is clumsy with adrenaline and has no idea what she is doing. This is madness. 

      - but by the STARS, does Amethyst feel good beneath her.
