Possibly graphic if you swipe. THIS JUST HAPPENED! Our last pregnant doe just went into labor. Only the babies head came out. I was able to get in there to feel for hooves but my hand is big. So Jeni gloved up. If you know Jeni you know this is a huge accomplishment for her. Jeni was able to get one hoof out and Mom had some ferocious contractions that pushed the baby out with only one huff out. Baby seems fine Mama seems fine. These baby bucklings are so cute. Just about 48 hours old and they are getting around fantastic. We were originally a little worried about the brown one but he has been doing fantastic! No names yet. This year all babies born here are getting Alaska themed names. The 2 born a month ago are Kenai and Hope. Kenai is for my home place, the Kenai Peninsula. And Hope is for Hope, Alaska which is on the Peninsula. You can see Kenai sticking his head through in one of the pics 😀.
