i dont think anyone really knows how to explain the car burning, so im thinking maybe jugs dad set it on fire while he was drunk and kept the jacket for weird sentimental HS reason? a bit of a stretch but it seems most plausible to me so far
oh, i just figure that’s connected to the drugs. he burned the car to protect himself and his gang and probably to get the drugs because there was like at least 10 grand worth of cocaine in that damn car
why he would’ve taken the jacket is beyond me (way to self-incriminate, pal) but i’d guess it had to do with a leverage point. the jacket could be used in a ransom thing for the blossoms or who knows what.
but i’m sure the serpents/FP are tied up in it through the drugs jason was selling and are trying to cover their tracks, but aren’t actually connected to the murder. i mean, it would just be too obvious, especially at this point in the season. and what a waste of a twist too; oh no, it was the shady biker gang all along! shucks, the lesson here kids is that everyone from the wrong side of the tracks is exactly what you expect.
anyway. that’s my take.
