my schools dress code:
solid color collared shirt (polo or button up) or school sponsored shirt. no spaghetti straps and sometimes they get mad if they see a camisole
solid color bottoms; no rips or fancy patches or anything. cant be higher than your middle finger when you put your hands to your sides. no sagging (thats the only rule for boys only most of these rules are aimed at covering girls up)
dresses have to be solid color and cover all of your upper body (like no skinny straps or strapless)
ive seen some teachers get mad about crazy socks and tights too but theres no rule about it?? shoes and outerwear (like jackets) can be whatever they just cant have like gang shit on them or whatever but everyone ignores all of the rules i listed above most of the time anyway
this is why in almost all my pictures im wearing a button up shirt and stuff
