TODAY'S FACT IS
Did you know that Lithodes Aotearoa is a species of king crab found in the waters around New Zealand? Like other king crabs, they have large spikes on their carapace while juvenile that get much smaller as it ages. It was often confused for 2 other species of king crab that are not endemic to the area: L. longispina and L. murrayi. It was in 2010 when researchers realized that those other crabs don't go that far south.

If I had a c-bill for every time Aleks designed a bum-ass breakthrough/command mech I'd have two c-bills, which isn't a lot but it's weird he did it twice.
Today's crab is: an absolute beast
King Crab, given a very crab like colour scheme. Praise he 🦀
One of the reasons I like BattleTech so much is that designers knew it even back then - the crab is the ultimate form. Regular Crab, King Crab, they knew.
