Finally finished the most unimportant character in Daggerfall, King Gothryd himself. He smiles because he's looking at a kitten or something and he forgets about his miserable little existence for a moment.

He’s one of my favs, he does nothing but stand and look angry, he’s such a chill dude except when he sends assassins after the agent and when he ragekills King Camaron.

Some headcanons I have for him under the cut!

Our king is just a big loser. I mean he tried to help daddy Lysandus fake his death so he could run away with his mistress and failed; he has a wife who probably despises him becuase he killed her father; some random ass agent stole his totem and his mom does weird things when not supervised.

I don’t think he actually planned for Lysandus to die, I mean he would have been king even if the plan works and Lysandus successfully fakes his death so he had no reason to actually kill his old man. Idk though maybe he was angry that Lysandus cheated on his mom, we love a king who respects his mother.

He has like four kids and one of them is named after King Camaron which was 100% Aubk-i’s decision, meaning that he’s a mansplain manipulate malewife.

He’s the type of guy who drinks his caffee with at least three spoons of sugar.

He doesn’t like the agent (understandable) but respects their skills.

Overall he’s just a sad little guy.

Woodborne is next and I feel like the world doesn’t need an anime Woodborne but I will draw him anyway.
