King Val and Alec had some alcohol. Val was on his 20th drink— as he physically cannot get drunk— and Alec was wasted on his first. Val was trying to get Alec to rest.

This is how it went, trust:

“You need to lie down.”

Alec pointed up at Val. “And *you* need to admit you like me.”

“That’s not— look, just get to bed. And I don't mean you're taking *me* to bed. You’re going to *rest*. I’ll keep watch so you don’t.. do something stupid.”

Alec shot him a smirk. “Bit late for that, your majesty.”
