Haven’t watched The Marvels in awhile. Still actually so good, I’m still actually so pissed over how it went down.

"I walked into a witch hex and now I can teleport through objects."
It's weird to think about how you can have no idea if something you said has touched someone else. Or how so. Like, if I make a post on my Tumblr here, you could read a post of mine and then scroll past. You could screen shot it. You could put the screen shot in your Discord chat and have it become a meme repeated among your friends. You could write another post inspired by my post and I would never know.
And that's just one example! There are so many connections we put into the world without ever knowing how they're received. Grafitti. Side walk chalk. Notes in books. A couch left on the curb with a "free" sign next to it. The ways we can inspire other people by openly being ourselves, without ever even realizing it!
Like, you can think that you're just speaking into an empty void, when really you're putting out information that flows into and displaces a million million life streams. And. I dinno. I just think of that as kind of neat.
Captain Marvel, Miss Marvel, Photon, Scarlet Witch, Agatha, Vision, White Vision, Iron Heart, The Black Panther (Shuri), Doctor Strange, Clea, America Chavez, Love (Gorr the Godbutcher's daughter), Moon Knight, Scarlet Scarab, Konshu, She Hulk, Abomination, Red Hulk, and Wonder Man watching a bunch of dipshits with no superpowers get turned into tshirts by doctor doom after they got told they can't help because nobody watched their movies
I'm not even a Steggy fan but do people realize that she is Steve's wife and a love interest in the mcu. She's not like replacing Carol in the fight against Doom or something. When it was time to hype up Carol and her movie, it was all hate or silence which resulted in a massive +200 million loss for Marvel. But now that she's not around for the next Avengers movie, it's other female characters fault. Like Peggy??? How is it Peggy's fault as Steve's wife, and not for example, one of the male cast members who IS stealing Carol's screentime in Doomsday? Carol is not a supporting character. She is a lead. I know most of those characters are going to die anyway, but equating a supporting character to a lead really shows how this fandom views women. As replaceable. As an afterthought. They're all the same until it's time to find someone to hate.
It is VERY weird that The Marvels sets up The Kang Dynasty--I mean, DOOMSDAY fairly well, and the Russo Brothers are going to just blatantly ignore that because...?
Actually, I don't know WHY they're ignoring it. Yeah, the movie flopped, but so did Thunderbolts* and Fantastic Four: First Steps a little. As for The Marvels, there was never anything really THAT bad about it to justify ignoring its existence. I'd understand forgetting embarrassing mistakes like The Eternals or Secret Invasion, but a movie that was just a simply fun enough time? I don't know about that one.
It's just weird and REEKS of "Well, the dude-bros didn't like it, and it's their butts we need in our seats! Sooooooo, cut The Marvels!"
