I can't believe no one talks about the marvels. It has awesome characters that are so fleshed out and well written.
I don't even understand.
There are people who hate this film? Really? It's one of the most compelling tales the MCU has to offer.

How could you hate a movie where Keiji Shinogi fights Oort the Living Comet!? Oort's sacrifice and enemies to lovers arc with Fury is so tragic and almost made me cry.
Matthew MacFadyen as Jefford Mcfells, an ex Mormon who moved to New Asgard, and his potential romance with Willrow Hood the ice cream man is just so inspired and gut punching from the esteemed director Paul Thomas Anderson.
I don't know how they got the rights to the character Shiori Honda, but she is a brilliantly written character who would sacrifice herself to make the light music club world famous, only to them become legends when she's thought to have died in the fight with Goose.
This movie has fantastic representation of Ferideth, a humanoid alien who is canonically a therian, who is fantastically played by Ryan Gosling. It really foreshadows his future role in Project Hail Mary (2026).
This is the movie that introduced Silver Surfer (or her "human" name, Tina Parsons-Smith) as a character (different universe version of herself of course) when she attends a concert by the beloved iconic band The Mutations on her first experience of Earth and sees how shes the only one to see the world like she does. As an autistic that scene hit really close to home. Her relationship with Carol is a major draw to the film as they both have similar situations.
Kamala's near death experience with Jefford is such an underrated moment in this film. It introduces Jefford to the concept of losing someone forever (and coffee lol) and it's so poignant it should have gotten this film an Oscar.
Then there is the main antagonist. The most disturbing, terrifying character in all the MCU. The character who makes Thanos look like Watto in comparison. Arguably the greatest villain in fiction. He needs no introduction. But I will introduce him anyway. The creator of the infinity stones and the infinity gauntlet. The being that made vibranium and murdered this universe's version of Galactus.

Why the hell is the scene in The Marvels where they evacuate a space station by feeding the crew to cats while blasting Memory from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats not talked about more??
I hate how you can't love something people hate because your admiration for it is only seen as ragebait and/or stupid.
Haven’t watched The Marvels in awhile. Still actually so good, I’m still actually so pissed over how it went down.
