How long after getting each puppy did you wait before they slept in bed with you? Also, how do you manage fleas?
Once they were 100% potty-trained with no accidents at all for multiple weeks, they were allowed to sleep in their crates with the door open if they wanted, elsewhere in the house, or in my bed (if they could jump up). Most were around.. I’d say, 12-16 weeks or so? It varied depending on the puppy and if they were the type to get into other mischief or not. Loki and Kiba potty-trained very quickly so we still crated them a while since they were just babies and might get into lots of mischief overnight. :] You want to keep them crated at night for at least a few weeks to ingrain that “bedroom/den” feel for them so that they enjoy their crates!
We don’t have fleas! We’ve never had them, with previous dogs or current. I actually have never even seen a flea in person.. I dunno if it has to do with the heat here? Or just that everyone around us keeps their dogs flea-free so none ever come over? We’re really lucky in regards to fleas/ticks/worms/etc, and never see them.
