Unorthodox meeting
@thekingbaron
The House has been running low on supplies, that usually spells death for them if they can’t gather enough rescources to use but with the local House being the ones in control of Venus along with the Vex. It makes it hard for them to even scrounge up usable rescources that haven’t already been stretched. Out of desperation the Kell herself, Ayvekis decided to join the hunt for new resources in hopes her size could intimidate anyone they might come ion contact with. The team that decided to go hunt for resources were three dregs, two vandals, they had started searching in the city above their cave, chances are they still have something they could use. While scrounging around in the buildings and the rooms, Ayvekis stood outside and watched. Her size made it impossible to fit through any human structure so she just let the smaller Eliksni do the work.
It was peaceful so far, her men seem to have already gathered most of what they needed, medical supplies, materials for ether production and some materials they could use to expand their current den. Things would have been perfect, if not for the Winter patrol heading their way. Ayveks was too concern with counting their bounty and sorting it to realize the patrol coming close and closer- until it was too late.
By the time they reacted, two of the dregs she had brought with her were on the ground with wire rifle holes in them and a vandel was injured. and by the time they finally stood their ground- they were surrounded. The Winter patrol had consisted of three captains, one baron, three vandals and two dregs. Even with her size, they were still outnumbered now thanks to the dead dregs and the injured Vandal. the baron stepped forward.
“If it isn’t the traitor, never thought we’d find you here. You’ve grown since the last time we met but you still can’t get rid of your scent.” the baron sneered.
Ayvekis sighed. “We don’t want trouble, we just came to get supplies.”
“Supplies for what? that traitorous House of your’s and the all the weaklings under your command? I doubt any of you deserve them.” the baron shook his head, with a wave of his hand, the two captains with scorch canons, the three vandals with wire rifles trained them one Ayvekis and her men. She cursed herself for not bringing her own scorch canon but she held her swords in her secondary set of arms and the primary ones balled into fists. Her men trained their weapons on them as well, they’d fight before they could get taken down by these sorry excuses for Fallen.
