Captain Thor Odinson has a lady to kidnap. That doesn't quite go according to plan.
Giveaway fic for @kingloptr who asked for corsets and breathplay <3
kingloptr replied to your post: Isn't loki being a queen about him being a size...
what about people who go with the myth and comics interpretation of him? loki is genderfluid and can use any pronoun ~ mcu loki never exactly said he WASNT genderfluid ~
also why would being a queen be degrading or insulting? esp if a fic has loki accepting that thor is his king~?
Oh I will get so much shit for this, I can feel it. Note please that this is my personal opinion and I fully understand if people don’t agree with me on it, it’s simply how I see Loki and it’s not meant to attack anyone who doesn’t, thanks.
Loki is a shapeshifter, that is all. He is not genderfluid, he can shapeshift. It’s magic, simple as that. He uses magic to transform into a woman or into animals in the myths, just like he uses magic to clone himself in the MCU. If he turns into a woman through magic, he becomes a woman, that does not make him genderfluid.
However, this has absolutely nothing to do with the post I made, nothing. I am solely talking about MCU Loki, who has always been depicted as a man and nothing else. In the MCU, Loki is a man. He is a prince and, should he be ruling Asgard, he would he a King. Because a man does not become a Queen, a man becomes a King. That’s how these titles work.
This doesn’t include Loki depicted as intersex or as Lady Loki or as whatever else people write him. This is about the MCU Loki we know and no other.
And yes, calling this Loki a Queen would be insulting, because it deprives him of his manliness, something that I do not agree with. Loki can accept Thor as his King, so Thor can do the same with Loki. There can be two Kings ruling a kingdom, just as there can be a King and his consort. That is perfectly fine. These are two men and none of them should be a Queen, because Queen is a title for women, not for men.
This is simply my opinion about something I do not like when I read a fic. I don’t care when people do it, it’s their decision and not mine, but it’s not something I enjoy or would write or read. If I do come across it I usually just say ‘Nope.’ and leave the rest of the fic alone, no matter how good it is because I just don’t like it and it’s nothing I want to read. And that’s all there is to it.

this post lol? https://thebibliosphere.tumblr.com/post/173563950066/nuttyrabbit-kira-the-cat-nuttyrabbit
YES!!! THANK YOU!! IT WAS THIS ONE!!! I’ve been searching all over trying to find it because it’s so incredibly ridiculous!
Thank you!!
Warning: seeing the post and seeing how stupid some people are (i.e. reporting AO3 to the fucking FBI) may very well make you loose a little more faith in humanity

Oh my god this anon can fuck right off. Not only are they downright rude they're also the MOST WRONG. I've never met anyone more consistently enthusiastic about Thor than you.

what the fuck?? i hope this anon knows im embarrassed that they share a fandom with me, acting like this. they can fuck off lmao and i hope they dont follow me
YOU ARE ALL SUPER SWEET. EVERYONE HAS BEEN SUPER SWEET. I LOVE YOU ALL. ♥ I was going to just leave it at that because, eh, what else is there to say? I’m not going to change their mind, they’re not going to change mine. But I suppose I gotta be honest in that I do kind of want to give a more serious response, even if I’m not really sure if the anon was serious in the first place or just trying to get a rise out of me with a trolling message or what. So much of it comes down to that I’d just said everything I had in me for awhile, because I wrote over 350 posts in my TDW blogging series and AOU had some fun moments but didn’t really inspire me/Thor’s part of the story wasn’t that big. I just did not have much of anything new to say and there was no new movie material to say new things about! I’d explored what we had of the background worldbuilding, I’d explored what I had to say about the characters and the relationships, I’d explored so many scenarios of What Ifs?, I’d just run my course for the time being. Now we have a new movie, there’s new stuff to discuss, of course I’m going to have things to say! And it’s fine if someone feels that I abandoned the fandom by being quiet (though, I was around, you can go back through my blog and see I reblogged something literally almost every day) or it’s fine if they hated everything I had to say before so they’re mad that I’m back. But they don’t have to read my posts. They can use tumblr savior to blacklist my name or, if they’re on mobile, I’m sure they’ve had to learn how to scroll. It’s just how fandom often works--we get inspired when there’s something new to catch our attention and talk about. Sometimes old flames get revived. The idea that that should be embarrassing is genuinely baffling to me, why would that be something so terrible? If you don’t find my commentary relevant, well, fair enough, you do you, there are plenty of people out there talking about the movie that you can interact with instead! But embarrassed about having a new movie to flail over Thor about? (And Loki, too, because I love that nerd so much, you guys!!) Bzuh? I just cannot wrap my mind around the idea of how you’re either obligated to remain consistent in talking about a fandom (on your own blog!) OR you have to shut up forever after that. And I’m certainly not going to follow it. I love Thor and I appreciate all the kind words people have had for the character as well, it’s been really wonderful to see so much enthusiasm (or so much kind-hearted “well, I didn’t enjoy it, but I’m happy for those who did”) and it’s infectious! I’d have come back around to flail anyway, but all of you (everyone who commented or tagged something or sent me a message, YOU ARE ALL WONDERFUL, you’re the ones I want to share a fandom with and am so glad we’re all still here, whether we hare off sometimes to return later or what!) have made it so much better. I love Thor and this movie gave me a lot that I had feelings about and I want to discuss it with all of you OF COURSE I’M GOING TO WRITE A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF TALKING AND I’M GOING TO READ ALL OF YOUR GUYS’ STUFF AND JUST BE REALLY HAPPY, THANK YOU. ♥ But also, lol, that my queue has kept posting the meta posts I scheduled while I was writing this, that’s perfect.

"Loki is on Loki's side" yES that is literally the only truth i know in this situation lol
Exactly! it’s why you can never take anything at face value with him.
kingloptr replied to your post: lavenderek: literally why, in this year of 2017,...
omg i still havent read CP yet even tho ive been wanting to for awhile, but i did assume that the characters were for sure trying to change their culture. so since thats true, they are, what could possibly be the problem???????? can no one write a fucked up society as the stage for their story at all?? ???? im so baffled by that thinking….
The Hunger Games are problematic because the government kills children. How Gross. Nothing else happens in the books.
Harry Potter is problematic because umm blood purity??? how does the author dare write about a concept like that smh. There are no characters who don’t believe in blood purity.
And don’t even get me started on the classics I mean... when will ppl learn that only good and pure is fit for being written down, nobody ever learns, circumstances never change and narrative is a dirty word?
