Kingly Peacock

@grahatiax got this for me from the mogstation the day it came out and I was pleasantly surprised. I also didn’t end up taking pictures until now though I had full intentions! Maybe I’ll make some better ones in the future.

Thancred stared.

Then he kept staring.

Gwen started to fidget.

The peacock didn’t notice, too busy peering around for little vilekin to snap up.

“What,” Thancred finally dragged his incredulous stare from the vibrantly colored bird to Gwen’s face, “is that?”

“A peacock,” she said helpfully.

He scowled, folding his arms. “Feo Ul?”

Gwen hesitated, petting the peacock’s neck feathers. “...Feo Ul.”

Thancred heaved a long-suffering sigh. He should’ve known the eccentric fey king’s gifts would be equally eccentric and ostentatious. “I take it they couldn’t get their hands on a jacular.”

“Pretty much, yes.” Gwen laughed reaching up to scratch at the plume of feathers atop the peacock’s stately head. It leaned towards her hand and made a little trilling sound of approval.

“I suppose you’ve named it?” he drawled.

“Felix.”
