The days are filled with waitings and wondering of when Jack would return. If he’d ever return. Yes, his... job often left him gone for weeks at a time, and his presence was something she missed dearly during their time apart. It meant she had to continue for days with the weight of being Queen on her shoulders as opposed to seeing him and everything seeming right as rain again.
Though she does not stay up all night waiting for his returns, there is always a candle in her bedroom window, lit, so that if he were to return in the middle of the night, he would know that she was at least home and waiting for his return, though she might be asleep.
It is a particularly warm summer night where Elsa can’t sleep, and she decides to at least sit at the window and watch the moon reflecting off the ocean. Hopefully that will relax her enough to get back to sleep. It is then that she sees a familiar figure appearing seemingly out of nowhere in the courtyard and beginning to stride towards the castle.
Jack.
Without a second thought, the young queen bolts out of her room and runs down the stairs barefoot with a blue silk robe flying behind her. He was home, he was home, he was home. Finally, a bright spot in these miserable few weeks.
Quite suddenly, a line of frost began creeping it's way along the window Fox was looking out of. What was even stranger was the way it was moving, and within moments, an image had appeared. It was a fox.

Who is more likely to raise their voice? ● neither really yell at each other, although if someone is to raise their voice, it’s usually jack. And it usually has to do with his latest prank. Who threatens to leave but never actually does? ● fox mostly, because she’s so tired of losing him or not having him every come back, it’s easier to just leave than be hurt again, but she can never do it because she loves him too much. Who actually keeps their word and leaves? ● I mean, jack does leave but he comes back? but leaving forever, it’s fox because she’s got to die someday. Who trashes the house? ● jack, with his pranks. @kingofcold This castle was huge and Jasmine was already getting lost. That was a great way to start off in a new place. She bit her lip and just chose a corridor randomly, hoping that it was the right one. She was too preoccupied trying to hear what teachers were saying that she didn't register the other person until they had collided. "Je suis désolé." She said, handing him books. Then the French caught up to her. "I mean...I'm sorry. I was distracted."
Jasmine never payed much attention to the clock on her wrist. She kept it covered most of the time with armor. She wanted to be a warrior more than anything and distractions would get in the way.
It wasn’t until she started going on quests that she even looked at it. When the numbers flashed less than half an hour until she met her soulmate, it drew up her short. Were they going to be an enemy? Someone she would have to maybe kill for the greater good.
She shook her head, that bridge would be crossed when it came up. In the meantime, shelter had to be found. The snow was coming down harder around them and it would be dangerous to travel in.
Taking refuge in a cave, she offered to keep watch so her questmates could sleep. Minutes passed by slowly as she watched the numbers tick down. At 15 seconds she pulled her knife out in case.
The first sounds of crunching branches came at 10 seconds. A nervous gulp couldn’t be helped as she stared out in the snowglobe like landscape. It was happening now.

The first thing that she noticed was that he was dressed for the weather. Although why anybody would be hiking in this weather was beyond her. The second she noticed was the colder wind.
