^^^ thank you guys a lot but also please remember that we have ppd and so while these comments really help they're going to be needed a lot ... we don't want y'all to think that they didn't help and that we just brushed them off, it's just a recurring thing w ppd, it fluctuates, just like any other personality disorder, and we need near constant-reassurance, ok ? thank you so much for being there for connor, just remember ey'll need frequent reassurance grbrge

allen is really good at FAKING HAPPINESS.  but there have been a few moments where she’s been legitimately happy, and those moments are actually the kind of happy where she’s really quiet.  It’s normally a smile, but it reaches her eyes, and makes them crinkle up in a way that is REALLY noticeable.  as such, when allen is legitimately happy, and one has seen it, it becomes MORE AND MORE OBVIOUS how much she fakes it.

               SHYLOCK IROS, AS A RULE, tries NOT to pick artifacts that she actively knows are own by others.  CENSOR SHE MAY BE, combative magic is not her specialty.  while she can make fire, the burns are less burns, && more bruises.  && PHYSICALLY SHE IS WEAK, although it’s possible to supplement her body’s strength and durability with magic, shylock is running on fumes, with very little mana to herself (and a small bit of TASS--solifidied mana--in her bag) and casting won’t be much help here.

               SO WHEN SHE BRUSHES SHOULDERS with the man next to her, she instantly mumbles an apology, and her hands quiver.  right.  the item is in his pocket.  she just has to REACH OUT AND TAKE IT--

               && SHE CAN’T.  she has to rely on her magic to boost her luck, first...  now, hopefully he won’t notice.  (IF ONLY SHE KNEW WHAT HE TRULY WAS.)
