             it  had  been  weeks  since  his  soul  was  placed  into  that  necklace  that  freya  kept  close .  weeks  since  she  last  seen  him --  touched  him .  he  had  broken  the  spell  binding  her  to  the  strix .  and  now --  the  hex  was  effecting  her  even  more  with  each  day .  her  grace  falling  so  deep  into  an  unknown  abyss .  no  word  from  any  of  her  siblings --- and  she  had  taken  residence  within  the  mikaelson’s  compound .    compliments  of  freya  who  had  taken  her  in  due  to  finn .  elijah  seemed  to  agree  but  there  was  hesitation  and  of  course  klaus  wasn’t  thrilled .  shocking .   the  fallen  angel -- soon  mortal  ,  maintain  a  wall  up .  not  daring  to  show  how  she  truly felt .  how  defeated ,  alone  and  heartbroken .  once  perfect  wings  now  had  feathers  barely  hanging  from  them .  it  was  a  painful  process  .  and  she  knew  it  would  get  worse .  she  stood  on  the  old  covered  bridge ,  alone ,  looking  down  at  the  flowing  waters .  it  was  peaceful .  away  from  the  noise  of  the  city .  the  sound of  birds  chirping  and  the  softness  of  the  water  reminded  her  that  there  was still  beauty  around  her . despite  how  dark  things  had  grown  .  and  how  alone  she  was  now .  what  little  grace  she  held  onto ,  she  could  feel  his  presence .  she  didn’t  know  marcel  too  well  but  she  knew  of  him  .  azrael  turned  towards  him .  “  if  you’re  here  to  tell  me  to  get  lost ,  i’m  on  my  way . . .  “   she  said .  “
