Alice was running as fast as she possibly could, through Wonderland. Dodging low branches, swatting them away with her hand, and jumping over roots. The thundering footsteps behind her grew louder as the creature roared, intent on following its target. A dragon. Of all things to be attacked by, why a dragon? She was unprepared for this fight. She couldn't kill a dragon! She could try, but she knew she'd fail. The creature roared again, narrowly missing her with a spout of flame.
Alice moved out of the way, patting out a stray flame on her dress, as she ran. She trips though, on a root she hadn't noticed. The creature was on top of her now, any moment now. She felt she was done for...
Suddenly, the ground opens up beneath her and she begins falling. She breathes a sigh of relief at the sign of being able to flee. As she falls, she turned her head, hoping to see where she was falling to. This was new.
She hadn't seen this place before. Where was it? Her eyes widen and she braces for impact, noting the large tree she was falling towards. Wonderland wouldn't catch her. She wasn't in Wonderland anymore!
Her eyes flashed a brighter green and her outfit glows blue, patching off into a new dress to help relieve impact from it. It wouldn't hurt as bad.. The hattress dress. Good. The hat flies off as she falls, but she knew it'd be back. Her body was mostly made of wood at this point. Her left arm was a wooden prosthetic.
She hits the branches, falling through and landing on a table in a campsite, shattering it. She was still for a few moments, dress patching and flaking off back to her normal black and white dress. Her Londoner outfit. Her entire body ached.
She laid there for a moment, catching her breath and processing what had happened. The entire camp had gone silent. Either that or the crash had her hearing go out momentarily.
She could feel hands grabbing her, gently pulling her from the rubble, and the destroyed table. She winced but didn't protest. Her eyes opened a bit, seeing a night sky above. She groans in pain as she's moved to lay on the ground. She takes a moment to gather her strength before her dress changes, again, becoming a rabbit themed dress, healing her as she laid there. After a few minutes, she sits up, finally, looking around at the hooded figures surrounding her, some of them looking concerned.
"Sorry to crash in uninvited." The woman spoke. "i've made more graceful entrances. I suppose I must be grateful nothing's broken." She slowly stands, dusting her dress off. She looks at the table she'd crashed into. "Except your table. My deepest apologies. It wasn't my intention. I can have it fixed if you wish?" None of them spoke. Odd. There was whispering among their ranks, as one of them ran off, to go alert their leader. Something was terribly wrong here.
This.. wasn't right. Maybe she should leave? Too late. He's already returned. "She's there, Peter. Go to her. She just appeared and crashed into our camp!" He whispers to Peter.
