Master Grade Sinanju Stein Ver Ka on deck. . This one SHOCKED me. Not only does it pour one of the most beautiful shades of burgundy I've ever seen in a beer, the nose is a veritable explosion of fruit and sweetness. It's very berry-forward, with those raspberry and boysenberry notes taking center stage, joined almost immediately by the smell of fresh guava and passionfruit puree. There's a distinct vanilla and marshmallow sweetness right at the end, and you know me: I love a beer that smells exactly like what the can says. The flavor here is KILLER; it's exactly what you'd expect from the nose. Slightly tart berries, sweet, flavorful tropical fruit puree, and an incredible dessert-like creamy sweetness. It's equal parts homemade jam, and artisanal candy. There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about this beer, and no way to fit all of the adulation it deserves. This is one of--and may just flat out be the best sour I've had all year. Straight masterpiece status.
