Doc leaned over placing a hand on Valerie’s wrist and looking at a pocket watch in his hand before gently placing her wrist back down and stuffing the pocket watch in his pocket. “Quite good condition for a fresh catch.” He grumbled to himself running his hands through his hair. Whenever the boys brought a girl aboard the ship, she always ended up under Doc’s care first and most of the time, they were barely breathing. This one was different, she seemed stronger and he wasn’t sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. He grabbed some smelling salts from his cupboard and gently waved them underneath her nose. “Time to wake up sleeping beauty.”

When your parents all but ruled the town, as their child you knew everything. That was the case for the case for Claudia and Anakin Stilinski. Even more so with Anakin, like his father he had a sleuthing habit. He had an unyielding need to know everything going on around him. So when a new family arrived in Storybrooke, he was curious to say the least. Storybrooke was not exactly the town people moved to willingly, most people couldn’t even find it in the first place. The whole ordeal gave Anakin a weird feeling but he couldn’t judge them - the Kinkles - not yet.
As he was heading to the diner for his usual after school curly fries, he spotted the youngest Kinkle sat in the park. She was in his fourth period history class, her name was Valerie and so far there was nothing alarmingly suspicious about her. She was nice. After a brief moment, he took a breath and made his way over to her. “Hey, new girl. Valerie right?” He smiled slightly.
“Look, Val, I get that everyone’s got their secrets. But whatever it is you’re carrying.. It seems heavy. And I’m just offering to help with the weight.”

who’s the most creative when it comes to gifts: i feel like it’s a tie. they both come from strange worlds and are both very creative. the gifts must be great.
who gets up first in the morning: artemis.

who cries at movies: depends on the movie. sometimes artie, sometimes val, sometimes both.

who suggests that they buy a pet: i would guess neither. val already has a talking cat..
what couple traditions they have: doing magic together (imagine how pretty that is bc val’s family has sparkly magic & artie has smokey magic) baking together and bringing back souvenirs whenever the other goes on a trip.
what tv shows they watch together: whatever’s on or whatever val wants to watch. artemis truthfully doesn’t watch a lot of TV.
what other couple they hang out with: whoever artie’s brothers are dating i guess lol
how they spend time together as a couple: they do everything.

they both doodle when they get bored. she doodles stars on her jeans, he doodles random stuff in his notebook. and connor really likes that they at least have one thing in common.
he did go to a few jazz band concerts. he lurked in the back of the auditorium and left before they finished to avoid talking to her. she totally saw him once or twice but never brought it up to him.
far far in the future once they’ve repaired some of the damage, they go on a picnic (and with their parents) but it’s not at the orchard since it’s closed and it wouldn’t be reopened without the connor project and since he’s alive, there was no connor project. but they go to a park or something. eventually they flew planes again.
