Pain causes the central nervous system to release endorphins to block pain and work in a similar way to opiates such as morphine to induce feelings of euphoria.
This is better explained like..ever see someone really badly hurt and they are not in pain because of the adrenaline and endorphins due to the shock?
He’s getting high off being hurt. NOW, about the choking. The rush of oxygen that comes after the release of the choke combined with the endorphins of the pain of the hold only makes the high that much better.
He’s also liking the aftermath of the fear of the attention or being caught. It all has to do with the same brain chemicals.
In short, he gets off on pain and fear. He gets high off it all. Choking is just new to him.))

Bondage - bondage classifies as being restrained which I love, being tied up, blindfolded, handcuffed, having my legs spread out with a bar holding my ankles, gags, cages, any sort of physical restraint especially with the use of force classifies as bondage

Degradation - being humiliated in general. Anything that would classify as "wow I wouldn't do that because it's humiliating/embarrassing" is degradation.
