≫ So Kinro is quite busy, especially ever since he joined the Kingdom of Science. The thing is that it was exhausting work. Hours and hours of training followed by gruelling labor.

≫ However, every day is followed by the sweet sleep, especially with you in his arms.

≫ After every exhausting day, laying down with you, holding you close, had to be his favourite thing.

≫ I believe he might have been a little shy about this at first. Can he even hold you so close before marriage? Is it appropriate? And what if-

≫ It took a while, but he slowly got used to the proximity you shared every night. He even started craving it.

“Hey, (Name).” He smiled brightly at you and proceeded to tackle you into your bed, nuzzling his face into your neck.  “Missed you so much.” He sighed and pulled you even closer, which you didn’t even think was possible. 

“Kinro, I missed you too.” You chuckle slightly and attempt to push him off, just so you could finish what you were doing earlier, but he doesn’t budge. Like, at all.

he had no idea he had a thing for you until ginro teased him about it

kinro always finds you on his free time, sometimes asking you questions about the world before and all it’s technologies

geek out about the tech with him! he’ll be so love sick

his face would feel all warm and he always feels his heart beating loudly in his chest when he talks to you so naturally ginro teases him about it

“you’re in love!! it’s with y/n am i right or am i right”

if you’re from the petrifaction he asks senku for advice cause y’all are close n all and senku just “ew”

he just tells him to go for it and that he has a ten billion percent chance of success

he confesses to you by going on a walk, a few months ago he found this hidden trail and he decided to take you there, he normally goes there to unwind or to just think

at the end of the trail there was a flowing waterfall surrounded by blooming wild life and fireflies acting as a light source

he would be very nervous but he took your hands in his and asked you out

when y’all get together the others notice that he’s a little happier

whenever he has free time he uses it to visit you at senku’s little lab or if you’re a villager your house

during the science meetings he always stands near you, sometimes he nudges your shoulder a bit to let you know he’s there

pda isn’t really his thing however he doesn’t really mind holding your hand when he’s off duty

your first kiss was when he was out on a night walk cause he couldn’t really sleep

the moon light was reflecting your figure perfectly and he found himself always looking down to your lips

until he straight up asked if he could kiss you despite not really kissing anyone before

the kiss was soft and gentle and he rested his forehead on yours afterwards

after your first kiss he loved kissing your hands and your temple

and in private he would softly kiss your lips

before you head off to sleep you visit his night post and kiss him softly on the lips it became a little routine between you two cause ginro was always sleeping despite the fact he was also on guard duty

if you want cuddles you would have to initiate them, after the first few times he’ll start initiating them every now and then

when cuddling he likes to be the big spoon so he could hold you in his arms

or he would lay his head on your chest to hear your heartbeat

if you were with him before he got his glasses he always squints to look at you clearly and he wishes to see you clearly without squinting

but when he gets them he finds himself always staring at you now that he can see you clearly

whenever there’s trouble or a fight near by he always stands in front of you with his spear

he knows you can handle yourself but he just wants you to be safe

sometimes when y’all are together you can hear ginro whining about wanting an s/o

It is almost peculiar how someone like you—and I mean it in the nicest way possible—swayed the stoic guard’s heart. All he ever saw, growing up in the village, were simple things like women having children with their husbands, embracing this peaceful life, and men taking care of the physically tougher stuff. He never even thought someone would want to go against how they were born—until he met you. 

A person who went against all expectations. Well, it isn’t like he knew right away; not many people did, actually. But it was to be expected; once you got close, you would have to tell him. 

Of course, though, Kinro is a sweetheart and had no problem with it, rather, he was intrigued. Why would one decide to identify as a different gender? That might still be a mystery, but he is—in fact—a supportive king. 

However. Some time after meeting you, you two got closer and, to everyone’s surprise, got together. 

Who would have guessed? In a Kinro x reader oneshot….

“(Name), dear, are you ready to go to bed?” The brunette looked up at you from your bed. His hands were under his head, which was tilted up at you, and he just stared. Like a lost puppy. 

“Almost done,” you smiled and changed your casual clothes into your sleepwear. 

“You’re so handsome.” Kinro muttered absentmindedly while staring you up and down. Back then, you would have automatically assumed it was a lustful look, but this was nothing of the sort; it was a look of pure admiration and love. 

One only your partner could master. And it affected you hard. He was just so… handsome. His brown hair framing his face, his glasses complimenting his face shape. It all fell together in perfect harmony.

Your handsome boyfriend thought you were handsome too… Isn’t that lovely? It is. He is. Every minute spent with him is like a fairy tale, every evening is like heaven. If you know what i mean… What more could you want?
