Summary: Kintaro hasn't let himself cry since his mother's death seven years ago. He just knew it rained a lot.
[A/N: Okay...it's 3:30AM...so there's probably going to be lots of grammatical/spelling errors in this. I felt like I had to get it down though, before I go to bed. This is basically what happens to the Kinta side of the Kintadeki (yami-izumi and my ship) when...stuff happens in the future. Just enjoy the oneshot as it is. Advanced apologies for annoying English errors as well. Too le sleepy to proofread right now.]

"Does Kintaro-sensei ever cry?"
The mornings only seemed a little rainy despite the sun, that was all.
After all, Kintaro had given himself plenty of time to feel sad and heartbroken. He let himself yearn for what had abandoned him during that time. He let himself torture himself with memories of wrapping his arms around Hideki's thin shoulders and giving him a kiss; of intertwining their fingers casually together when he sat next to Hideki; of telling Hideki that the future will be easy and that they had nothing to be afraid of; of long nights of simply being one and together with Hideki; of shamelessly saying over and over again how much 'I love you' to Hideki when they both needed it--
--but they were no longer reasons for Kintaro to cry.
"..." Suddenly Kintaro felt like suffocating again. He couldn't quite breathe. Did it suddenly get heavy inside the infirmary or perhaps it was just him?
Getting up, Kintaro resolutely opened the door and stepped outside, figuring he just needed air when he headed down the hallway and still he felt his breaths choking at his throat. When he stepped out into the playground, where the kids were beginning to hide under the shade of trees, he felt water drip over his cheeks. Kintaro hadn't even realized it was raining.
Yet when he looked up at the sky, the sky was clear and the sun was blazing relentlessly.
Thud. Was he suddenly having an illness of some sort? He still couldn't breath and his breaths seemed like they were choking, and he had fallen onto his knees. What should he do...the children were staring at him...
"Kintaro-sensei?" A small hand reached out to touch the blonde man on the shoulder. Kintaro saw through his blurry vision that it was Goro. "Why are you crying...?"
