Kinutil, made from Tubâ (palm wine), eggs and cacao powder. My 60++ Tita prepared and introduced this to us last night. Reminds me of Bailey's or eggnog. The name of this Filipino alcoholic drink from the Visayas Islands and Mindanao means "stirred", from Visayan kutil ("to stir"). Well, I am stirred by the thought that just when you think you've tried and outgrown it all, you rediscover something old with a twist that makes it new and interesting again. Learning never grows old.
