the air was tense inside the car as everybody inside watched anton in fear and caution while the machine blasted its automated script . belle was the first to panic as she quickly realized the zombies surrounding them start to wake from the noise , spreading her panic and fear towards the others in the car . that's when the panicking began .
" fucking hell , they're gonna snatch him. "
" are you guys really going to just sit in here like pussies and not do anything ?! "
" oh , shut up ! that's rich coming from somebody who's lounging in the backseat . "
it wasn't until a zombie started to pick up pace while on all fours on the ground that someone in the car was realizing they had to get anton back in the car asap . while the zombie was a good distance away , yn yelled out a quick " jaehyun , get ready to close the door " before sliding it open and snatching anton back in .
maybe it was the severity of the situation or that loud authority in her voice that had jaehyun listening without a doubt because the second the door opened he jumped to the seat next to his and clicked the button to close it shut . unfortunately , things didn't go to plan as the zombie's head had gotten stuck between the door , its bloody teeth snapping and biting as it smelled the fresh group of humans right in front of them . it only took a few seconds of panic and screaming ringing in his ears for anton to realize what had happened before he kicked the zombie straight in the forehead , the door closing shut right after .
" holy shit , that's the second one i've kicked . "
the loud banging of an undead body and the windshield made everybody in the car jolt . eunseok and belle were whimpering , holding back their sobs , as they held onto each other between the seats . it seems like the two were trauma bonding over their much more intense fear compared to the others . with another bang , taesan whispered out a quick harsh " everybody shut up " before covering his own mouth . everybody else followed suit , afraid that even a single breath would be heard .
