The power to change - Super Saiyan Kiprali Saga Fragment
fThey had arrived, the general and his minions, finally coming to reclaim the land that was once theirs. Tuzen growled angrily, and his master readied himself to fight. “Why won’t they just leave us alone, damn it!” He exclaimed, looking at his master with a caring and worried look as the saiyan just stared out into the bleak, unending winter that was their home. “Don’t do anything stupid out there, Kiprali. I don’t need you injured at a time like this.”
Kiprali nodded, and kept his eyes locked onto the approaching army. “What do you think of our chances against them?” He asked, hoping the android would provide some decent information for him to go off. “Because I think I sense Yima approaching.” Yima had been a long time veteran of the RTF, and was their prized commander. He had a great power, beyond which only the saiyans of Kiprali and Sumatri could exceed.
Tuzen glanced over the hoard of ever nearing soldiers, scanning and trying to think of their possible weaknesses and strengths. “Most of them are just your typical soldiers, but a few are Shinigami Warriors.” The android paused before looking up at his saiyan compatriot. His eyes were worrisome and almost fearful with what he had spotted. “It is Yima.. He seems stronger now than ever before..” He put his eyes forwards once more, taking a deep breath and readying himself as his master had done.
“It looks like we haven’t got a choice, my friend.” Kiprali tightened his fists into a tight ball and got himself in his fighting stance, ready to strike within a moments notice. “As soon as they pass the Garrison dugouts, we strike.” The saiyan had made his claim on the land after the RTF abandoned the base and the entire antarctic region, but now they were on a mission to regain control of the land they once had, and they were almost in range to do so.
“Regular soldiers, then Shinigami, right?” Tuzen asked, wondering whether he should try and strike at the enemy leader as they neared the Garrison approach. He was shrouded the presence of the Shinigami Warriors, too many power levels for him to even think about.
Kiprali did not do his usual confident chuckle, and instead held a serious, unrelenting look upon the enemy. “Then, and only then, we take Yima.” The marching footsteps were now audible and the pure-blood could pick out at least a couple thousand soldiers, with the merciless commander leading the pack. “He is too dangerous to take on with this many of his own around him.”
Tuzen nodded as he too started to hear the oncoming battalion. "I understand.” He simply held his ground and waited for his masters orders, not wanting to fly head first into the dark tide that was about to mount an offensive. They marched onward, and with what seemed like an eternity of waiting, they passed the Garrison Dugouts.
“Now!” Kiprali’s voice echoed off the solid steel door and sheer icecliffs that dotted the nearby area as the two companions raced off, headlong into the soldiers and readying themselves to mount an attack. “Ekirei,” The Warrior saiyan jumped into the air, a ball of blue energy charged in his hand. “HA!” He let lose the energy that he had gathered in his palm, destroying a good chunk of the enemies forces.
Bullets ricocheted uselessly off the androids body as he powered through the masses and left a trail of bodies behind him. The regular soldiers were no match for the pair, even in their masses. The true worries came from Yima and the several hundred Shinigami warriors; alone, they could do nothing to touch either the saiyan or the android, but together they amassed a great amount of power that could prove deadly to the pair.
Kiprali smiled as he watched some of the soldiers panic and flee, enjoying what little victories he could effort as he volleyed ki blasts at the remaining soldiers that seemed to fall like trees. His smile stopped however when Yima approached the saiyan. “You know I won’t let you take this land, Yima! I won’t let anyone take it!” He exclaimed to the master fighter as he stopped but a few feet away, leaving Tuzen to clear up the remaining cannon fodder.
Yima simply smiled as he reached out in a long stretch and chuckled darkly with an evil intent in his eyes. “Come on, Kip. You know I am a reasonable person. You give me the land, and recall my forces.” He stated simply, Kiprali obviously taking this brave offer as an insult to his ability.
“I will destroy you and your forces to they do not intrude on my territory Yima, and I will make sure the RTF hear of your failure!” With that, Kiprali charged his Ekirei Cannon and readied himself to struggle against the dangerous commander.
With a breathless sigh, Yima complied. “It never gets into your thick skull, does it?” He stated, building his Bravo Beam steadily, waiting for the right moment to release it upon Kiprali and end his puny saiyan life once and for all. That would finally remove the pest from his life in spectacular fashion.
Meanwhile, Tuzen battled through the masses of Shinigami Warriors that now crowded his every turn. “Damn these fighters!” He muttered to himself before unleashing a massive volley of powerful ki blasts upon them in every direction. Soon he was engulfed in smoke, steam, and a frosty fog that shrouded him from view.
Together, the two enemies released their beams, and with a loud crack the two met in the middle like the boundary between storms. They struggled with each others power, the beam swinging like a pendulum with who had the advantage. “You do not make it easy to kill you, do you Kiprali!?” Yima was visible struggling and straining his body, and soon would have to abandon the beam struggle. Kiprali was in the same position, putting himself on the limit of what his body could do.
They struggled with the powerful beam, not letting the other have the advantage until they could over power them, but in this battle, they equalled out, and could not beat the other. “I won’t let you kill me, I have too much to lose!” The tiring saiyan called out, pushing with one more large pulse, only for Yima to meet him with the same pulse. Neither made any ground on each other.
Soon enough, they both stopped, the energy clash dissipating into the atmosphere with a darkened cloud of faint dust forming between the two panting warriors. Yima had now lost all patience, and was now going to make sure Kiprali would never forget his name. “You won’t back down, make it easy for yourself; Now I will take what you own!” He exclaimed, before racing towards the android, who was surrounded by Shinigami warriors still attempting to blast him.
The saiyan pureblood cried out in anger and despair. “Don’t you dare touch Tuzen!” His voice once again echoed within the cliffs and hills of the antarctic plains. Before he could do anything to stop the crazed commander he was hit in the face with a powerful ki blast, stunning him long enough that a few Shinigami warriors who were watching from the sidelines could restrain the saiyan in place, watching over the ensuing battle.
Tuzen heard a loud slam behind him as Yima landed on the cold, icy ground. He signalled his Shinigami Warriors to stand down, and pulled his Naginata off his back. “I am going to enjoy this.” His usually calm voice was now peppered with taints of rage and anger, and his fists visibly shook as his began to swipe viciously at the android.
All that Kiprali’s friend could do was dodge and block, not having the time to even think of doing anything else. His body was worn down with trying to deal with the Shinigami Warriors that threatened his home, and he couldn’t do it any longer. “hold on Tuzen, Please!” Kiprali called out. He was held in Spirit Chains by what was now a dozen Shinigami warriors.
A slip on the ice was all it took for Yima to find his advantage, slashing across the androids chest and cutting him open. He was now severely damaged, and Kiprali could do nothing about helping him. “You cannot win Kiprali, I will take this base, or destroy everything you have!” Yima walked up to the fell Tuzen, placing a boot across his chest and forcing the Naginata into his head.
With one final breath, Tuzen murmured his last words. “I’m sorry.. Master...” Yima was a vicious man of pure evil, and had taken on Tuzen merely to prove his superiority over Kiprali. The murderous being enjoyed killing him within mere moments of the blade first touching him. Having taken this as a solid victory he began laughing maniacally, unrelenting in his cockiness, confidence, and love to see the broken man that was formed from the loss of the kind android.
Kiprali had lost his best friend. His only company in the last few years had come from the android, and now he had fallen due to the war that preceded him, and a battle that was caused by the pure-bloods’ invasion all those years ago. “Tuzen! No!” Rage built up inside him, all he had worked for was peace, peace for his friend and him to live without fear or worry. Now it was gone. Kiprali couldn’t hold himself any more. The anger, the fury with the general drove the warrior breed off the edge, and he broke out of the chains with an almighty roar.
His hair began to change hue, from its’ usual black to a burning gold, and his eyes to a tone of cyan. The Shinigami warriors were all blown away by a powerful blast of energy that came from his completed transformation.
Kiprali had ascended.
