‘Where are you?’

He had sent that message at least fifteen times by now over the past couple weeks, all with no response.  This was the harsh and painful reality of being in the military and holding such a dangerous position.  He doubted anyone would contact him should the worst come to pass and even then he would never get straight answers.  That’s simply the way it was when it came to classified business.  Luckily with his connections he found out the unpleasant truth, at least as much as could be given.

What was he supposed to do with that?  At least it wasn’t KIA, this was better right?  He wasn’t entirely convinced of that.  She could be alive out there somewhere, captured even, there was no way of knowing.  The worst part was there was absolutely nothing he could do.  This wasn’t his branch and he had his own duties to perform.  No doubt they had their own people on it by now.  Perhaps Talon could help, the man had his ways.  Right now all he could do was hope and pray that she would make a safe return soon.  ...Someday.  

It was hard to ignore that aching feeling in the pit of his stomach telling him he shouldn’t get his hopes up.  A final comm message was sent off before he tucked it away:

‘Please be okay.’

I’ll be uploading these as I finish them so here is Kirabel! She is my go to character for when I play MMOs, but she's become more of her own thing now. She is snarky but is a pure tank at heart and is always ready to protect.

An Outreach

Storms hardly ever managed to unsettle the young lord in the past but it always seemed as if he was at his wits end these days; especially with uninvited guests barging into his estate from occasion.

But this visit had rather been quick and to the point: a family member, one close to him, was missing. And for far too long. Long enough to have his contacts south of Quel'thalas rather informed of her whereabouts. Rahlaven sighed lightly, glancing along at the parchment and the start of the point of his quill before he took to writing:

“Dear Sir Sunvale,

I am sending this correspondence to you to with haste as soon as I found out news I had been waiting to be confirmed: Kirabel has been taken prisoner in occupied territory of Alliance lands. I understand you are rather close to my cousin and I am sending this to you with assurance that motions have already been put into play to bring her home.

I have people working on at the time of this letter’s arrival. She will be back safely, you have a guarantee.

“Knight-Master Sunvale, you have mail.”  The letter was set on his desk before the younger Knight gave a salute and departed to leave the man in peace.  Despite being ‘between wars’, work was never ending.  As an Ambassador he was expected to do a lot of traveling and this month brought him to Silithus.  ...Again...

He hadn’t heard  from Kira in some time, which wasn’t terribly unusual at times but there was something that didn’t settle well in the pit of his stomach.  The letter confirmed as much.  With a heavy sigh he leaned back in his chair, rubbing a hand over his face.  As much as he wanted to go help, to volunteer his services, he couldn’t just leave his post.  There was little he could do in these situations aside from wait and hope that the military has their shit together and knows what they’re doing.

He pulled out a fresh sheet of paper and pen, writing a letter in return:

Lord Rahlaven Bloodblossom,

Thank you for the letter, I wish it could have been under better circumstances.  If there is anything I can do please do not hesitate to ask, I have quite a few connections among the Alliance.  If not, please let me know when and where she is returned safely.
