I had an idea. You know how penguins can steal each other’s babies? And how some had headcannoned that SkekEkt and SkekAyuk might ‘borrow’ the other skeklings? Well, can you imagine that they do that with SkekTif? It’s not the first time SkekEkt ‘borrowed’ her, and I won’t be surprised if he brings his ‘crawlie dumpling’ for the ride.

What type of tea/food do you suggest when your out in the woods?

Ah, greetings! 

Hmm... for tea I always do recommend the green variety. It keeps your mind sharp, your breath fresh, and your feet moving. 

As for food, absolutely do prepare something for your journey in advance - there is no guarantee that you will actually find edible fruits and mushrooms, or perhaps only a few. 

I suggest something that keeps you full but does not take up too much space, such as a wrap. I am partial to leaf wraps myself. The filling is up to you. Be sure to include some kind of nuts and seeds - they are quite filling despite their size. 

You could even make several small wraps - this way, if you happen to run into a friend, or perhaps your elusive half, you can share your food with them, tempt them to eat something green at least once every hundred trine. But I digress.

Oh, and before I forget: remember to drink water!

Hey dude, once again your art is amazing! I must ask how do you draw your skeksis, I'm having issues with the robes and body structures and I'm wondering if its possible for a tutorial or something.

I don’t blame you for having difficulty drawing them. While their outlandish designs are perfect for a medium like puppetry, they don’t translate too well to drawing. And then there’s their funky anatomy and dealing with foreshortening when drawing their faces. So here’s some tips that I have used that helped me draw these nasty birds:

Gather reference and lots of it, whether it’s from the show, movie, or behind-the-scenes/production. For screenshots from AOR, I recommend using cap-that: it has a great abundance of shots and it’s all organized by episode (not to mention the overall quality is pretty good).

Rewatching scenes from the movie/show and study how the skeksis and their garments move. 

Do screenshot drawing studies. Here’s some of skekMal I did months back, as examples:

You don’t have to go crazy like I did, but doing these helped me a lot!

Break down the characters into simple shapes. This can help especially if you’re having issues with foreshortening. Something like this:

Simplify them. You don’t have to include in every detail, color, or accessory. Keep the ones you think are important to the character and get rid of the rest. Stick to a specific color scheme and reuse colors to make things easier for yourself. 

Practice, practice, practice! And don’t get discouraged if they don’t come out right the first time. The more you draw them, the better you’ll get. Here’s how I improved drawing some of the skeksis within a few months:

How do you make your drawing TikToks? I really love them, and I would love to make some of my own.

It is quiet easy,

all you need is TikTok, and some paper or a program you draw in. Each scene its own layer. So all you have to do is draw each scene. Hide the previous layer and take the next one. It is like Stop-motion animation! Which i adore! Paper is the same, but if ya do a mistake it is harder, because space is limited! Also, hell yes!! DRAW SOME!
