So on Friday some 14-year-old walked into my new algebra class (I’m in 8th grade so it was at the middle school) with two violinists and our teacher started yelling at him, but he ignored her and the violinists started playing some romantic music. This boy took a DIAMOND RING out of his suit’s pocket and got down on one knee in front of the girl next to me and started reciting some speech and asked HER TO MARRY HIM.
This girl looked terrified and just put her head down on her desk and said, “Kyle.... no....” And Kyle got really mad and screamed, “WHY?! MIRANDA I LOVE YOU!”
So Miranda stood up and yelled, “KYLE WE’RE 14 AND WE’VE BEEN DATING FOR 7 WEEKS. PLUS YOU JUST STORMED INTO MY MATH CLASS AND PROPOSED?!”
And then the cOPS SHOWED up because the violinists were not authorized to be on school grounds, but then Kyle started running because he stole the fucking ring.
This is my first week at my school. This will be an interesting year. I will keep you updated on Kyle and Miranda’s middle school love story of a soap opera.
