I do use my personal tag of #silverwrites for when I do make those posts. if you happened to be curious (which tbh i talk more here then twitter)
I personally use tags more for organization then for visibility here.

this reply was too long so i made it a separate post. xkit (which is an extension that helps the tumblr experience) used to make it easier to make replies. but copy/paste is easy enough.
to answer your question tho.
I say “personal tag” but it’s more just a tag i made up. it will still show up as a public tag. technically. cause literally you write anything in the tags and the first 10 tags will show up in the tag system here. but only on posts you make yourself. if you reblogged something and still used that tag, you can still find that tag on your own blog. but it won’t show up in the public system.
if that makes sense.
for example. I use the tag #writing ref for everything i reblog that i think could be useful for my writing experience. It will show up as a url as https://silvermystification.tumblr.com/tagged/writing%20ref
because i used the space in the tag it always puts that %20 between the words when you try to look it up. but it’s better then using hyphens in tags. hyphens in tags are a nightmare.
but what i said was my “personal tag” silverwrites can still be found at tumblr.com/tagged/silverwrites because every tag you use can be found under tumblr.com/tagged/[INSERT TAG HERE]
but finding it on your own blog (or anyone’s blog) would be [URL].tumblr.com/tagged/[INSERT TAG HERE]
you can also track tags. technically. (it’s easier with xkit)
