Likely from his childhood, when he refused to learn and to engrave those fluid motions into his brain — all he could really say, however, was that it was his own fault for denying and pushing away all lessons he found useless when, really, they came in handy.

——— Like right at this moment, while he was attempting to write to his caretakers an apology letter. He was sure that they were old and frail by the time they were sent, which was why he was trying his absolute hardest to write as neatly and as quickly as possible.

Right from the very beginning, she had SETTLED calmly beside him, brushing the skin of her shoulder against his as charcoal hues carefully scoured the parchment paper for mistakes. Every now and then, mistakes became SPOTTED, but it wasn’t as if they happened to be major ones. If anything, Vivian would say that Kiragi happened to be a quick learner.

Then again, perhaps it had to do with the fact that instead of explaining, she preferred writing out each character in neat, cursive strokes. Perhaps a bit lazy of her, but hey, at least her skills with calligraphy was good ENOUGH for Takumi to assign her as a temporary mentor for Kiragi.

“ Oh no, the pleasure’s all mine! In no time at all, we’ll be making you an expert who can write kanji in his sleep. ” Vivian finally spoke, allowing a gentle smile to grace her lips. “ Just copy out all my written examples from before, hm? Remember, the kanji for person is like two SLANTING legs of a stick man person, or if you want to be more specific, it’s a chopstick preventing the other chopstick from falling by making direct contact right in it’s middle. ”

No sooner had she uttered such a silly statement, Vivian proceeds to lightly pull away Kiragi’s brush, demonstrating such an example before him. “ Now, that’s what we call PERSEVERING loyalty of the highest caliber. Get it, got it good, Kira? ” she finally brought herself to question aloud, upon finishing.

The words slipped out easily, for he had been prepping each syllable he had planned to deliver to the prince, hoping each one would somehow form a coherent sentence. First step down, next to go.

The blond was in disbelief when he had been handed yet another invite to another fancy ball, leading him to wondering if this was something he was just going to have to get used to. To spend a whole night swirling a sparkling drink in a cup he'd never afford on his own, fidgeting as he pulled on a suit he knew he would never wear save for at these types of events, and having his eyes scan the grandiose hall not for a target but rather a familiar face that would put him at ease... it was a taxing lifestyle, he could imagine.

However, his saving grace last time was being able to spend time with one person in particular: the young prince that allowed him to whisk him away into the night and forget all about empty chit-chat and worrying about stepping on some noble's feet.

Perhaps he was a bit selfish or mean-spirited, but when he saw the other standing with an unamused frown, he felt relief. Giving himself the fantasy of being able to be the one to help make him smile, he had made the trek to walk up and approach the archer, rehearsing all sorts of greetings along the way before spouting one out in a flicker of a second. He felt his anxiety well up as he fumbled there silently, unsure where next to go, and after a bit of playing with his glass, he downed the remainder of his drink, hoping he might gain a spark of inspiration to propel him to his dream in the meantime.

Takumi finds his pain rather ironic. Several arrows to the back. Didn’t even get to see who delivered the blows. And now he’s being cradled by his son. pain coursing through his entire being as his clothes are stained with his own blood. He lifts his hand slowly and presses it against Kiragi’s face. My Opinion on;

Character in general: Kiragi is such a sweet character tbh. Like, he’s such a ball of sunshine and he’s such a great kid for Takumi. Like, I just love how he makes his dad feel better about himself and I cry all the timeHow they play them: 1000/10 for real!! Aaaaaa cati you’re such a gret kiragi and you develop him so well! You can’t be happy all the time, and I’m glad that you convey that in kiragi! You make him more than just a one sided, always happy, character and I really appreciate that!The Mun: I L OV E CATI!!!!! YOU’RE SO SWEET AND SILLY AAAAAA I love talking to you and we can talk about gayato x dicken all day! Ack, I’m bad at words but ilu lots and talk to me whenever!
