Meowth's unreasonably mad about the stupidest thing. Which is exceptionally common if we're being honest about it.
It's that little pink puffball. He's got food. Loads of it! Just sitting over there at that table with all sorts of goodies. Well, you know what?!
Snagging a rice ball in one paw, Meowth proceeds to cram it down his mouth. It's gone in a single gulp, as if it never existed. Once he notices the look he's given, Meowth narrows his eyes.
"Look pal. I'm starvin' here! Don'tcha have a heart or somethin' somewhere in all dat pink stuff?" Looks like a demented Jigglypuff, he thinks.
