Yashahime Chapter 44: An Anti-Climatic Battle

Like many other people, I really hate Hanyo no Yashahime especially the Manga as it's more rushed than the Anime and I don't consider it canon to the original. Hating Yashahime from pedophilia pairings to constant recycling, I stopped watching the series but I got curious of the recent chapter. This is so trash compared to Jujutsu Kaisen or Attack of Titan.

The final battle between Kirinmaru and Sesshomaru in the Manga was worse than the Anime!

This whole show is poorly executed. First, the final battle Kirinmaru and Sesshomaru fight was poorly animated in the anime and was worse in the recent manga as it's extremely short as laziness all over the board.

The chapter was extremely rushed as it was about Kirinmaru gaining freedom from the Grim Comet and having a quick conversation with Rion and how she could depart in peace, Sesshomaru appearing before Kirinmaru and Rion and drawing his sword, Kirinmaru telling Sesshomaru that he gives up and to kill him, Sesshomaru punches Kirinmaru and gives a short speech about wanting to fight, Kirinmaru laughs and compares Sesshomaru to Toga then accepts a fight, Myoga saying it's more than just a fight between Kirinmaru and Sesshomaru, Kirinmaru saying he must atone for his sins, Kirinmaru and Sesshomaru striking each other once as they're injured, Kirinmaru asks Sesshomaru was he ready to see Toga who says no, Kirinmaru giving Sesshomaru a speech about Toga and comparing them, Kirinmaru taking Rion into the sky and thinks that he met his end, Sesshomaru bidding Kirinmaru and of how he has no footsteps to follow and wonders about Towa and Setsuna's Paths, and lastly Zero and Rion appearing in spirit form in the modern era as Rion bids farewell to sleeping Towa, Setsuna, and moroha and hopes they return to their true homes.

This Manga is absolutely a garbage fire. Personally, I really wanted Kirinmaru to be alive and move on because unlike Naraku, who has no redeeming qualities, he has redeeming qualities as Zero was the real villain.

If characters like Shiori, Akuru, Spirit of the Tree of Ages, Osamu Kirin, Mayonaka/Mahiruma, Oharu, Shizu, and a few other had their character outcomes from the anime in the manga just like Tsubaki in the original then Kirinmaru deserves one too.

A dance that begins now comes to its end. [Read it at A03]

This morning, as I am just recovering from an illness- I was texted by @fawn-eyed-girl (Thank you sooo much for reading this tale) that she finished beta-reading through this tale, 3 years ago- I conceived this story in a whim- trying to establish Midokirin as its own fandom despite that I am the only person in the damn paddleboat (Following by a few others). I would say that my story is simply capturing lightning in a little bottle.

A little bottle which the wonders and horrors of womanhood intermingled in this dark and unforgiving world. I would say this story gave me an outlet to pour my heartbreak and joy (Yes that Midoriko having her female rage era chapter, actually I reread it and I was indeed very pissed off then).

And with all fairytales, there is a point that it must end, which I knew for a long time but it perhaps took its sweet time.

I want to give a shoutout to the few who journeyed with me through this tale- @serial-doubters-club who suggested this idea about a dance in a field, and love gazed upon a dancing stranger, @eliza-faust-diary for the gorgeous art for Turtle island and actually following my story through the very end and Swim (Wherever you are, love ya!) for praising my story for its poetry and beauty.

I would say lately, I am finding myself unable to write- as my words are simply robbed by personal circumstances (Especially right now as I am focusing on my Japanese studies) but I will come back, as I am planning to go to the @asanoyaexchange to see if I can capture that spark back.

But for now, I thank you all for following through my fairytale
