nozomi and eito are products of the same situation with their own unique privileges and disadvantages btw. nozomi turns out submissive and willing and people-pleasing and self-sacrificial and that is partially because of the misogynistic society she was raised in. she isn’t angry about her situation because she was never given the tools to be.

eito never had to deal with that, but he did have to deal with ableism that meant he could never be a valuable asset. he cannot be a willing soldier because he is a liability. even if he wanted to, he cannot simply fight and be done with it. he is the weakness and therefore, he physically cannot sit in blind complicity.

takumi, on the other hand, is a cishet abled white boy* who has never had to deal with the fact that being that means he has to take responsibility for the privilege he has. he has also been throughly brainwashed and had his entire childhood written in such a way that he specifically has never had to think about it.

both have routes in which they are the protagonist and narrator

nozomi and eito are fighting for the same reason at the end of 2nd scenario

the doorbell ringers. genuinely 90% of the time it’s either nozomi or eito

both are anomalies within the SDU (for the exact opposite reasons)

nozomi and eito need to have more significant interactions in dlc….genuinely i think they could be friends!! ESPECIALLY if we’re operating off the idea of 2nd scenario nozomi/2nd scenario eito!!! like you’re telling me the two characters who spent their entire lives alone and isolated because of a medical condition and have literally every fucking narrative parallel ever have maybe like. 2 significant interactions
