2k13 in selfies, relatively in order from January-December. 

2013 was the year of selfies, the year of loving who I am...inside and out. The year I got my drivers licence, got my braces off, decided to try bangs, tried my hand at cosplaying. It was freshman and sophomore year in college, and it was finding my calling in life. 

it was one of the best years of my life. Thank you to everyone in it.

      Sometimes he would cry, and sometimes he would laugh, but Jim would never remember the stories in the end. Bones mostly shared while Jim was out from injuries, not conscious to hear the soft sobs that came from Bones’ lips and shook his whole frame.

      After retirement, he would still tell Jim stories, stories of his time as a doctor onboard the Enterprise, stories of how he could never deal with that stubborn First Officer they kept, and stories of how his daughter was growing up over the years.

      When it was the old doctor’s time to be tucked into the stark white hospital sheets, Jim knew he wasn’t going to have enough time to tell Bones his whole life, so he skipped to the important parts. The parts that took place after Bones had met him and they begun to share their lives with one another. Jim would trace the tendons in Bones’ hand, play with the academy ring that Bones still wore on his left pinky, and intertwine their fingers and hold on tight. Jim would talk about the many nights they spent staying up late studying, the infinite amount of playlists he would blare in the morning to get Bones up for class, and the amount of girls he started to kick out because he would rather spend time with his grumpy doctor.

      The last story Jim told Bones was the one where it would all end. He talked about how staying with Bones until the end of time was all he ever wanted, he talked about the Enterprise, and how she would always be with them no matter where they would go. He talked about the crew, and how they would all miss their beloved CMO. He talked for hours about how much he loved Bones. He told stories of galaxies that rivaled Bones’ eyes, of stars that could never shine as bright, and he spoke of oceans that were envious of his loving soul. But most importantly, he told the story of their life together, the great James Kirk and Leonard McCoy, and that this, in this moment, is how it ends. It would be softly, no big bang, no ensemble of doctors trying to save his life to let him live another day. Jim cried, his eyes red, his nose stuffy. It was the end, and he knew it would be selfish to try and stop it.

      Bones wanted to go, and so Jim let him.

Oh gosh I hate you you lil sweetie... POTTERVERSE OR WITH THE DOCTOR OR actually I think that's it.

2. Your best fictional friend?

Like what do you mean... a character that I want to be besties with or one I can relate to the most because I  d o n t  k n o w.  Maybe Rory or Donna! I really have no clue I've never put in any thought into this. 

3. If you were a superhero what would your name be?

Oh gosh. Grand Anacrusis. It just sounds cool. (It means grand upbeat basically not much sense there)

4. If you could have an article of clothing belonging to any character from a book/TV show/movie what would you choose? (i.e. Cas’ trench coat)

CAN I HAVE THE DOCTORS SONIC OR A WAND? OR THEN CAN I HAVE THE INVISIBILITY CLOAK? IF NOT THEN TEN'S BLUE SUIT BECAUSE REASONS.

I WOULD BE AN ARTIST OR A SCIENTIST. CURE CANCER YO.

9. What’s the nicest thing anyone has ever said to you?

Aw, I always like these but I always blank at them. Ah, I remember one. The main pastor one time at a youth retreat in the summer when we were doing a serious thing said to me "You are special".  Like he said it with such fuckin sincerity and conviction that it was just seared onto my heart. Then he told me a secret. 

10. Travelling the world and visiting your family whenever you want to, or travelling through space and time with the Doctor and never seeing them again?

THE DOCTOR HANDS DOWN. Wait never?

The weeping angels or cybermen.
