Listening to stuff and timing translated captions in a language I have the barest understanding of is actually gonna make me blow my brains out, but it will be worth it for the final hardsubtitled video

I keep telling myself it'll be worth it as I open the next track and see that it's 22 minutes long

Sometimes a fic is so good that you get invested in it despite not agreeing with the general idea.

Like okay I would not use these ingredients to make that dish and I would hate it in almost any other situation, but the cooking skills were on point and the finished dish incorporated the ingredients in such a fitting way that I was enthralled nonetheless.

I see some people online who have specific things they hate which is valid because same, but sometimes it feels like some of them are going to the restaurant with a giant neon sign saying "We specialize in The Thing You Hate" and they're angry that the place that says they serve the thing they hate has said thing while going "Why doesn't this place serve the thing I like exclusively." Buddy you're at the wrong fucking restaurant.

Similar experience is "Why won't other people eating at The Place spoonfeed me, why do I need to do stuff myself."
