I don’t think people give Kit enough credit for intending to go through with the engagement and fulfill her duties to the kingdom. She was nice enough and wore the right clothes and did all that was expected. She only broke down because Jade was leaving. But up until that point, even though she made some sharp comments about Graydon, she had been behaving just as expected. And she even apologized to Graydon aftwards. She’s a great princess and I’m proud of her.
