Sapphic TV shows that were cancelled way too soon:
Kit & Jade || Willow (2022)
thinking about willow (2022) again because it really was the show ever. fun stock tropes that are turned on their heads (ex: the prince is kidnapped, the princess is the asshole with a heart of gold character). a classic fellowship going on a quest across the world. magic system that's cool as fuck. awesome fight scenes. the main couple is two women and they kiss in the first episode. a guy gets possessed more than once. the power of love is taken so seriously and carries a lot of weight. it's about next gen characters from a fantasy movie made in the 1980s. funny as hell. a major theme is what we do with the burden of legacy and what happens when the role we thought we'd have isn't the role we end up fulfilling. beautiful setting. epic fight scenes. a timeline that doesn't make sense if you think about it too hard but many shows have that so we can let it slide. there was definitely a planned three season story. disney not only cancelled the show but removed it from the platform. did i mention the main couple is two women.
quick boorman study, bcs i miss willow :'
Yall se the vision right?
