@/dumbfuckboy on Bluesky is a long-time enjoyer and living proof of what my blog's messaging is all about. Since we started chatting years ago, he has been putting in the work to change and improve himself. Seeing and feeling the rewards produced from his hard work brings me a sense of pride in itself - that confidence comes with commitment.
If visual proof isn't already enough inspiration, I asked what he wanted to say about his journey - what lessons he has learnt:
Don’t be afraid to change. I gained a lot of muscle mass, started training with heavy weights and going to the gym 5 times a week. Morning outdoor workouts too (in spandex of course 😅) and two cycling workouts every week. My face got wider, my neck thicker, and the moustache + shorter haircut made me look older and more masculine. I stopped hiding my body. Yeah, I still get shy sometimes (especially when the bulge and ass are visible in spandex 😅), but I don’t look like a nerd anymore. I look like an athlete now. So people just see it as my normal look now. The most important part: you have to learn to love discipline and submit to the routine 🫡 Don't be afraid to be obedient. Learn obedience.
No better way to put it.
Gear up. Obey that calling. Make that change.
You owe it to yourself.
