"Medna Roso" is a glorious recording featuring BBC Jazz Award-winning and Mercury nominated artist Kit Downes on organ, New Zealand saxophonist Hayden Chisholm – known for his distinct microtonal tuning system – contributing on alto saxophone, shruti box, analogue synthesizer, throat singing, and vocals from PJEV, a female a cappella vocal quintet from the Balkans, that preserves and cherishes traditional vocal music from Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Pulled by Magnets - Invite Them In

New single (7” vinyl & digital) from London-based experimentalist Seb Rochford (Polar Bear, Sons of Kemet) and his latest group: Pulled By Magnets. The single consists of two vastly different versions of a track from upcoming debut album. While the A-side features the Pulled By Magnets trio, the B-side is a solo performance by acclaimed organist/composer Kit Downes. Glitterbeat label imprint tak:til will be releasing Pulled By Magnet’s debut album “Rose Golden Doorways” on February 28th, 2020.
