A Touch of Magick. Omega, Aether, Phantom

If there's one thing Omega takes pride in - it's his little siblings. Despite only being a fresh adult himself, carrying around a toddler and infant through the pits after leaving their den; desperate to find a new place to start over. How they settle into another cave and sweet baby Aether has the big task of watching little Phantom while Omega goes out to quickly gather items to assist in a warm nest for the night.

Keeping them tucked against his stomach, petting down fur and keeping the fire fed so there's no more shivers. He'd do anything in the world for them... Despite his best efforts there wasn't much success. That's why when one day he felt a burn in his chest he quickly scampered himself and the kits back to the cave, scared he was suddenly dying.

He buckled over and kept them close to his chest, telling himself that he dies at least his body will cover them.

He pushes and pushes as his vision goes black, but feels his kits weights on him, so he keeps pushing until he breaks through tar. Hearing Aether pass what got into his lungs but Phantom gurgling. Omega can barely see as he sits Aether down and starts patting Phantom's back to help expell.

Omega picks Aether back up and looks around, panting as he's stressed seeing all these new faces before some kind of... Person? Comes close. Speaks their language and offers a kind hand. Leading Omega to a new den where he's sat in a tub, letting this person scrub tar off his body while he focuses on his baby siblings.

"What are your names?"

"I am Omega. This is Aether and Phantom. Who are you, again?"

The man just smiles, speaking slow to make sure he says their tongue correctly. "I am Primo. I am the current Papa of this ministry you'll soon come to learn more about... But I won't overwhelm you. Let's get you clean and fed."

Brought food and Primo watches as he feeds the little ones first, then himself once they're settled. How he takes the sheets from the bed and makes a nest in the corner, adding more blankets and the pillows until they're settled and comfortable. He curls around them and sighs, tail flicking with uncertainty.

"It's safe here?"

"It's safe here. You can rest."

Omega just nods as his eyes get heavy, finally relaxing after so long.

got head arranged and composed learned mandolin ended my villain arc, changed my ways fulfilled one-sided enemies to lovers arc devoted my life to who yaoi had a life-changingly bad fight with my dad saw the who trip sat my dad while i was cross faded because he was 3x as cross faded as me and also on his first ecstasy trip and we were at the who concert which is its own kind of drug so my dad was on four drugs and also 6 beers my guitar professor loves me because i practiced so much over summer break fell for a straight guy performed with my dad for the first time went to new york alone to see quad rock ballet, marking my 3rd time being pete townshend's audience member because he was there?? wrote songs i'm proud of call that townshendmaxxing tried zyn for the first time, got nic sick and threw up five times. on a hike bought sheet music written by john entwistle repairing my friendships and making my life better than ever also forming new friendships with my mutuals because I GET TO MEET THEM IRL from time to time and it's making my life so special shout out to oldies but mouldies and livingunderaclassicrock fr 🫶 went the whole year without someone dying (monumental improvement from 2024) crashed my car
