I have literally never talked to anyone about this because I’m scared I’m gonna be told that I’m wrong and that I’m thinking to deeply into things, but I think about this moment from nightwing #80 all of the damn time, genuinely.

It GENUINELY means so much to me and seriously makes me emotional lol. Dick’s escrima sticks have been made so that they can turn into a staff. Tim is the member of the Batfamily that consistently uses a staff as his main weapon. Dick’s weapon has been made so that it can be adapted into Tim’s weapon. That makes me want to CRY!!!

His own weapons have been designed with weapons his ally’s use in mind, and that makes me emotional I don’t care if I’m overthinking it.

i think about this scene a lot and i know it’s been talked to death, but i still think it’s amazing. it’s amazing how denji and makima are the only ones in the theatre sitting side by side, how they didn’t react to the rest of the earlier movies even though everyone else did. they are strikingly similar in the way neither of them know how to properly connect with people which is why the last movie finally connected with them.

i remember someone saying smth on the lines of how makima is always so close to being human but never being able to fully bridge that gap because of who she isand yeah i agree 100%

in this scene they are both crying, but only denji looks to realise the other is crying. makima doesn’t look because she’s never looked at denji, not once, so she doesn’t ever realise. even though they are equal in this aspect when it comes to connecting with others.

A collection of random things:

- If your clothing has tags not on the back, they’re probably on the left side. This is useful when getting dressed in the dark.

- Unless dealing with particularly weird lighting, shadows all stretch about the same. This means you can use them to judge where someone is compared to your shadow, if for whatever reason you cannot look directly at them.

- If you walk by putting your heel down first and letting your toes down after, you’re generally quieter when you walk on leaves in a forest.

- Learning how to take a step blindly is actually quite hard. It’s best to do barefoot so you can feel your way with your hands and feet. Being able to walk when you can’t see is actually quite useful in many situations.

- You can learn to control a lot of random muscles of your face if you stare at a mirror for awhile when bored. No one can stop you. It’s your face.

- During nighttime, opening your eyes as wide as you can will help you see better in the dark. Red flashlights are also best to help keep your nightvision and blue flashlights are the worst. There’s a reason old LEDs were all red before blue LEDs became fashionable.

- Naturally gray hairs aren’t actually gray or even white. They’re clear. There is no color left in the hair strand. That’s why hair dye doesn’t last long on gray hair as well.

- When going on a forest hike, find a good stick that is taller than you. It will catch all the spiderwebs so they don’t get in your face. You can also use it to test how deep creeks are so you don’t end up with wet socks.
