holiday break | kit & scott
Kit had been avoiding Scott. Or trying to anyways, she would pass by his office a few times since her rental, she always tried to move quickly, not wanting to run into him. But also realizing she missed him more then she had anticipated. Even after his other side had tortured her, she was terrified of him, but that couldn’t stop the other memories, of Kit in her dragon form playing on the beach with Scott. Of coming home during her rental and working on her art. Of him playing with her hair or her leash while she purred in his lap. Still whenever she started to think about seeing him she remembered what his other side said. She needed to keep it a secret, and Kit was very bad at lying and keeping secrets. It was one of the reasons she never really let anyone else into her life when she was keeping her dragon side a secret. When she cared about someone hiding was hard.
Kit had gotten him and Daisy a holiday gift though; a cookbook for Daisy, and a Steven King one for Scott, a sketch she had drawn of them together, and a little sparkly ornament she made out of things she had found and collected around the island. She planned on leaving the gift bag at his office door and run off. Since the headmaster had put in place the dress code she didn’t really want to wander around in just her lacy underwear knowing she might run into some unsavory people. Hiding in her cell seemed like the smartest way to spend her break. But as she set down the bag she heard the door open. She popped right up and looked at Scott with her large dark eyes. “Hi,” she said in a small voice. Her hands almost shaking as she looked up at him. Half afraid he might be the other one but the other half was glad to see him.
