You appeared in front of the Dawn Winery on a stormy night, looking for shelter. Your child in your arms, shivering as you pull them closer, whispering, "Shh. Just a bit more, baby. Just a little longer."
You rushed to the tall building that you had seen in the distance, racing all the way around to try and find the entrance.
When you did, you ran under the balcony, finally getting shelter from the pouring rain. Your baby was whimpering at this point, snuggling closer to you for warmth. Without a second thought or a shroud of hesitation, you knock on the door.
When it opened, you were greeted by a woman with shoulder length blondish brown hair and green eyes. She had an irritated look on her face, but it quickly changed into one of concern when she saw the shiver that went through you as you tried to send as much warmth to your child as you possibly could.
"Oh dear," she said. "Come in, come in!"
She sat you down at a sofa to the right side of the entrance. She left you there and quickly returned with towels and clothes, taking your child from you arms and gently drying them off. She then proceeded to hand you a white button up shirt and black leggings. A quick change resulted in the shirt being a smidge bit to big, but warm nonetheless. The child was then placed into your arms as she lead you to a room on the other side of the first floor.
The door opened to show a simple bathroom, sink to the left, a toilet next to it, a mirror hanging above the sink, with a circular flush mount light in the middle of ceiling.
"Please use this area to change your child. I do not know if the clothes will fit but this is the smallest size we had."
The door then proceeded to close as you sent your child on the ground. "Maddy, Atlas warm. Atlas like." Your child cooed at the warmth that finally surrounded them.
You gave your child as kiss on their cheek. Then began to change Atlas' clothes. " Yes baby, Maddy likes the warmth too."
"Atlas like Maddy. Stay with Maddy. No need for Mean Adult." Atlas walked over to you and wrapped their arms around you neck, burying their face in your chest.
"Yes baby. You're staying with me. We won't see that mean man again." You picked them up and exited the bathroom bringing the clothes.
"Oh good. The clothes fit." The woman cleared her throat. "Pardon for the late introduction, I am Adelinde, the head maid here at Dawn Winery. Our master is currently away on business and will not be returning for a week or so."
"Greetings Adelinde. My name is [Name] and this little one is Atlas." You looked down at the 4-year-old in your arms. "Baby, say hi to the nice lady."
Atlas lifted their head off your chest and have Adelinde a small wave.
