Today my beloved husband found out that string cheese is called string cheese because it is fibrous and can be pulled into strings of cheese. I love him with my entire heart.

So losing my sense of taste from sickness has been fun. I’ve turned it into a science experiment to see what tastes actually bust through.
Potato chips: nothing. Cheese puff: nothing Water: nothing, but it’s water so... Dr. Pepper: the most flavorful thing I’ve had today. The aftertaste is still very present and good. This is what diet soda should taste like! Corn dog: tastes normal, very weird. Mustard (with corn dog): taste like sour tang and nothing else. Pretzel sticks: nothing unless I shove like six or more in my mouth, then I get the tiniest bit of salt. Sprite: taste normal???
Gingerbread house!!!
Doctor pulled me aside today to show me my blood results. Got worried for a second, but all she wanted was to compliment my great cholesterol levels. Feeling good today.
Tried mochi ice cream for the first time today. Beautiful, better than I could’ve ever imagined. The sweet ice cream combined with the subtler mochi flavor, the soft pillowy mochi shell... absolutely transcendent. I am going to devour them in a day.
Just got finished watching the Sonic movie for the first time. Very good, would recommend. I think in the next one they should let Robotnik say fuck.
Found this new friend on the trail. Had to zoom in real close since I didn’t want to bother him too much. What a cutie~
Neighbor guy was on the porch playing his guitar and singing again. Always a good way to start the day.
